Why don’t my steps match Apple Health?

WalkBop reads steps from Apple Health and refreshes your weekly total. Recent steps can take a moment to appear. Check that WalkBop can read Steps in Apple Health or iPhone Settings, then reopen the app. WalkBop cannot reconstruct steps missing from Apple Health.

How do weekly races work?

Your Apple Health steps become race points. Races reset each week, and your position changes as friends walk and use items. A friend may briefly show an older score until their app syncs again.

How do invitations work?

Open Friends in WalkBop and share an invitation link. Your friend signs in with Apple and opens the link to connect. If the invitation does not finish immediately, ask them to reopen the same link after signing in.

How do I earn and use items?

Walking earns mystery crates. Open a crate in Items, then save or use what you find. Shields block an attack, while other items can boost you or affect a friend’s race. Each item explains its effect before use.

How do I change notifications?

In WalkBop, open You → Race alerts to choose the alerts you want. To allow or block all WalkBop notifications, use iPhone Settings → Notifications → WalkBop.

How do I delete my account?

Open You → Data & privacy → Delete WalkBop account. Confirming permanently removes your account and associated profile, friends, invitations, race records, items and notification data. This cannot be undone.
