Terms of Use

Information about using Fovri, recipe imports and Fovri Pro subscriptions.

The app

Fovri is provided by Kenneth Marcel S De Geest, a self-employed developer (autónomo) based in Spain. For support or privacy requests, contact degeestkenneth@gmail.com.

Fovri helps you collect and edit recipes, plan meals, prepare grocery lists and follow cooking steps. Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement applies to the iOS app. Mandatory consumer rights continue to apply.

Fovri Pro access

After onboarding, an active Fovri Pro subscription is required to use Fovri, including the cookbook, recipe importing and entry, Cook Next, meal planning, groceries and cooking features. If a subscription or trial expires, the app is locked until paid access is purchased or restored. Expiry does not delete recipes, photos, folders, meal plans or drafts stored locally on the iPhone.

Fovri Pro is available as monthly and yearly auto-renewing subscriptions. The monthly plan has no free trial and is billed immediately. Eligible new subscribers can receive a 14-day free trial with the yearly plan only. Apple determines eligibility, generally allowing one introductory offer per subscription group. The purchase screen and Apple confirmation sheet show whether a trial applies, the price charged after the trial and the renewal period.

Billing, renewal and restoration

The localized price, trial eligibility and billing period shown in the paywall and Apple’s confirmation sheet apply. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. A yearly subscription with an eligible free trial automatically converts to the paid yearly subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends. Paid subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends; renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the end of the period. Manage or cancel through your Apple Account subscription settings. Removing the app does not cancel a subscription.

Open Settings → Fovri Pro → View subscription plans to see the paywall and Restore purchases. Restore using the Apple Account associated with the subscription. Restoration checks subscription access; it does not restore a deleted local cookbook. Apple handles refund requests under its policies and applicable law.

Recipe sources, AI and food safety

Only import content you are entitled to access and use. Source creators retain their rights; importing a recipe does not grant republication rights. Website and video availability can change, so importing every link is not guaranteed. Cloud assistance is subject to reasonable operational limits and availability.

Imported and AI-generated recipes can contain errors or omissions. AI-inspired suggestions may differ from the original video. Review ingredients, quantities and instructions before cooking, especially allergens, substitutions, cooking temperatures and food safety. Fovri is not medical or dietary advice.

Your records and privacy

Keep independent backups of recipes you want to preserve. Device loss, deletion or software failure can cause data loss. Our Privacy Policy explains local storage, optional AI import help, anonymous Firebase service accounts, the temporary migration of legacy Supabase sessions, analytics, diagnostics and purchase processing. Features may depend on internet access, third-party source sites, Apple, RevenueCat, Google Firebase and Google Cloud, OpenAI and, during the temporary migration period, Supabase.
