01 / FOVRI KITCHEN NOTE
Start with how recipes reach you
Website-first cooks need reliable URL import. Cookbook collectors may need scanning or manual entry. Social-first cooks should test TikTok, Instagram and YouTube links before committing to an app.
A keeper that cannot capture your usual sources will create more cleanup than it removes.

Five tests before you choose
- Can you edit every imported ingredient and step?
- Can you search by recipe and ingredient?
- Can you keep the original source attached?
- Can one recipe become a meal plan and grocery list?
- Can you export or back up the collection?

Local storage or cloud sync?
Local storage keeps the cookbook on the device and can reduce the personal data placed in an account. Cloud sync makes multiple devices and household sharing easier. Neither model is universally better; the right choice depends on how many people and devices need access.
Fovri stores cookbook data locally on the iPhone. Online access is used when importing a link or using optional cloud assistance.

Where Fovri fits
Fovri is for the cook who wants fewer handoffs. A saved idea can be edited, scheduled, shopped and cooked without rebuilding it in a second app. Fovri Pro is a subscription, so it makes the most sense when that complete workflow is valuable—not when you only need a static list of links.
