At a glance

TipHaven works without an account. The shift dates, hours, tips, wages, sales, covers, workplace names, roles, sections and notes you enter are stored locally on your iPhone. TipHaven does not send those records to the developer, RevenueCat, Firebase or Apple Ads.

This policy covers the TipHaven iOS app and its pages on the Kestora Labs website. TipHaven is provided by Kenneth Marcel S De Geest, an autónomo established in Spain. Contact degeestkenneth@gmail.com.

Information stored on your device

TipHaven stores your shift records, jobs, roles, sections, preferences, reminder settings, goal, app-lock preference and the number of free shift entries created in local app storage. This information remains there until you edit or delete it, delete all app data, remove the app, restore a backup or the device data otherwise becomes unavailable.

App Lock asks iOS to authenticate you with Face ID, Touch ID or the device passcode. TipHaven does not receive or store biometric data.

Free entries and lifetime purchase

All app features are available from the start. You can create five shift entries for free across all jobs. A one-time lifetime in-app purchase is required before creating additional shifts. Deleting shifts or local data does not reset the free-entry allowance.

Apple processes payment and the App Store transaction. TipHaven uses RevenueCat to show and test purchase offers and to manage purchase access. RevenueCat may process an anonymous app-user identifier, device and operating-system information, product identifier, storefront or country, displayed price, transaction or receipt information, purchase status and paywall interactions. It does not receive the shift or earnings records you enter.

Earlier subscription products are no longer the current offer. A valid legacy entitlement may still be recognized until it expires or is revoked.

Product analytics

Release versions of TipHaven use Google Firebase Analytics to understand coarse product events such as onboarding progress, offer views, purchase outcomes, shift milestones, insight-period views, completed exports, review opportunities and Apple Ads attribution status. Firebase may also process technical information associated with analytics, such as an app-instance identifier, app version, device or operating-system information, timestamps and approximate region.

These events do not include earnings amounts, tips, wages, sales, covers, notes, workplace or job names, roles, sections, exported files or backup contents. Analytics is used to understand and improve TipHaven. It is not used by TipHaven to build an advertising profile or track you across other companies’ apps and websites.

Apple Ads attribution

When an installation follows an Apple Ads campaign, Apple may provide privacy-preserving attribution. TipHaven records only a coarse attribution status for product analysis. It does not store the short-lived attribution token in shift records, send that token as an analytics event or use it for cross-app tracking.

Exports, backups and reminders

When you export or create a backup, TipHaven creates a file and opens Apple’s file or share interface. You choose where it goes. The destination you choose has its own privacy and retention practices. Restoring a backup replaces local app data only after confirmation.

If you enable a reminder, TipHaven asks for notification permission and schedules the reminder locally on your device. TipHaven does not use its own server to send reminder details.

Kestora Labs website and support

The TipHaven pages are hosted through GitHub Pages. GitHub may process standard technical information needed to deliver and secure the pages, such as IP address, browser or device information, requested pages and security logs.

With your permission, Kestora Labs uses Google Analytics on this website to understand page use and App Store link clicks. Analytics remains off unless you accept it through the consent panel. Kestora Labs disables advertising storage, advertising personalization and Google Signals. You can change your choice through Cookie settings in the footer. See the separate Kestora Labs website privacy policy for details.

If you contact support by email, the email provider processes your address, message and related delivery information so the request can be answered and managed. Please do not include tip amounts, earnings, employer details, backups or other sensitive information.

Purposes, legal bases and providers

Where the GDPR applies, information is processed as needed to provide the service or respond to a request, for legitimate interests in securing and improving TipHaven, with consent where applicable law requires it and to meet legal obligations. Service providers include Apple, RevenueCat, Google Firebase, Google Analytics, GitHub Pages and the support email provider. TipHaven does not sell personal information.

Providers may process information outside your country. Their own terms and recognized transfer safeguards apply. You can read the Apple Privacy Policy, RevenueCat Privacy Policy, Firebase privacy information, Google Privacy Policy and GitHub Privacy Statement.

Your choices and rights

You can view and edit shifts, export all shifts as CSV, create or restore a backup, delete individual shifts or use Delete All Data in Settings. You can change notification permission in iOS Settings. Restore Purchase checks the purchase entitlement; it does not restore shift records.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to or receive a copy of personal information the developer controls, and to withdraw consent. Contact us to make a request. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority; in Spain this is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos. These rights do not give the developer access to records that never leave your device.

Retention, security and children

Local data remains until you remove it or it otherwise becomes unavailable. Purchase, analytics, website-delivery and support information is retained by the relevant provider or developer only as long as needed for its stated purpose, security, disputes or legal obligations. Reasonable safeguards are used, but no system is completely secure.

TipHaven is a general financial utility and is not directed to children. The developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes and contact

This policy may be updated when TipHaven’s practices, providers or legal requirements change. The current version and effective date will remain on this page.
